A beautiful walk to a big waterfall. I took the route from Goit Stock Lane through the private housing then through the snicket that has a 'waterfall this way' sign on it. Keep going till you get to the waterfall with the metal steps next to it. You can go left at the wooden bridge to get back to the main road, or go right for another longer round route. The rocks can be slippery in the rain and it can be dangerous when the water is high - be warned that in high water that the path can be almost completely covered with water, it isn't all flat and it's not a walk for those who are beginners/ that aren't great with uneven surfaces and clambering over rocks. I enjoyed it although some parts were challenging. Looking at other people's photos from summer on here - I can tell the difference between the water when they were there, and when I was there in December. There are plenty of signs saying not to swim, please listen to these signs.

Very nice walk up to the waterfall, can be a little slippy on the rocks and a little muddy in places but totally worth it.

This place was so peaceful and beautiful takes your breath away . The tangible peace and beauty was everywhere. Locals living here were so friendly. Happy to chat along the path . The groves are known as fairy grove and is home to many a mythical creature. You may have the guardian fawn cross your path . I know it did for us , So many tales from this area yet it's a beautiful hidden gem in Yorkshire. Unfortunately if your in a wheelchair you can only go about 3/4 way into the forest as when you get closer to waterfall it's hard for able Bodies to get through the rocky parts . It's really not very suitable, but the path to it is definitely worth it and there is the little waterfall and streams to chill out along the way .

Lovely waterfall. Quite a difficult walk to it, trees roots and rocks to scramble over, but worth it.

Short walk with some nice scenery along the way, just over a mile containing 2 waterfalls, bit of a rough terrain towards the second waterfall, not recommend for pushchairs or wheelchairs, no toilets or bins, not too busy as we visited on a weekday, good place to take Long exposure photos

Lovely, steady walk to an amazing waterfall. We parked at The Malt pub, crossed over and walked up Goit Stock Lane, I would say the walk ideally takes about 20 minutes to reach the waterfall but we had 2 children that love to explore the water so it took us a little longer 😀. It's a simple straight path up to the waterfall, it does however become uneven as you near the waterfall so not ideal for a pram. Overall a great stroll for the family.

It’s a hiking track you need to park outside cause there is a private society in there. Otherwise it is ok place

The waterfall is absolutely beautiful, a true natural wonder. To fully appreciate its beauty, you need to take a walk along a road that leads you through a serene forest path. The journey through the trees adds to the experience, making the sight of the waterfall even more rewarding.

Nice hidden waterfall into the woods. Very beautifull place, though it feels like locals try to keep it for themselves only. Google maps is misguiding you on this one. We parked opposite The Malt pub on the main road. Then it's about 10-15 minutes walk to get to the waterfall. Don't try to get your car through that little road, as there's nowhere to park it. Seen an owl into the forest and there's few bats around the waterfall too.
